How long have you played the guitar?

I've been playing guitar for about 6-7 years. I didn't get really serious about it until the end of middle school.

What other instruments do play?

My main instruments besides guitar are bass and drums. I dabble in a little bit of piano and I've been working on (re)learning saxophone and clarinet.

What ensembles have you been a part of?

As far as school ensembles go, just jazz band. But I've been a member of several student organized groups, as well as bands outside of school.

What's your favorite jazz band memory?

Definitely the whole Atlanta trip. I really loved the field trips because you got introduced to kids outside of your ensemble. I made some good lasting friendships with people whom I never would've thought I'd be close with.

Anything else you'd like to share?

I had a really good time in the music department. There were some really talented folks that came and went, and I had some great times with everyone. I hope future generations get to have as much fun as I did.
