How long have you played the tenor saxophone?

I started with alto saxophone in 4th grade, but I switched to tenor in 6th grade

What other instruments do play?

I can play a little piano and guitar, and I also sing in the chorus

What ensembles have you been a part of?

I have been part of Jazz Band, Honors Chorus, and Naucappella at the school. I have also participated in All Cape Chorus for two years and this year I also sang for the Senior Districts Treble Chorus.

What's your favorite jazz band memory?

My favorite jazz band memory was our performance at Nauset Newcomers this year. It was the first real snow of the year, and we had a snowball fight while waiting for the bus. I won.

Do you have siblings?

I have two brothers, Robert(22) and Michael(19). Robert played the alto saxophone in jazz band during high school and Michael played clarinet in concert band. They are my two best friends, but don't tell them I told you;)

What is your favorite part of the music department?

I love the people that I've met. I have made great friendships in the two years that I have been here. Mr. Anthony and Mr. Faris are great teachers and they make the music department fun. My two music classes are the part of the day that I look forward to the most.
