How long have you played the alto saxophone?

I started in 5th grade (at St. Francis with Mr. Anthony as the music director :) ), so this is my 6th year. I knew I wanted to try playing a band instrument going into 5th grade, but I kind of just picked the alto saxophone for no specific reason.

What other instruments do play?

I can play the piano a little.

What ensembles have you been a part of?

Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pilgrim Congregational Church Youth Ensemble, and a couple of sax quintets.

What's your favorite jazz band memory?

Playing in the snow after the Nauset Newcomers concert this year.

What has been your favorite song so far?

• Probably American Patrol.
